Wood Center Food Pantry
About the WCFP
The program serves any °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ student with a Polar Express Card. Students may pick up one bag of food per week. We are located upstairs in the Wood Center next to the Wood Center Ballroom.
The pantry is stocked with canned food (beans, soup, vegetables, etc.), other shelf
stable food items (pasta, granola bars, oatmeal, etc.), and hygiene products (toilet
paper, shampoo, soap, etc.)
The Wood Center Food Pantry has two service options - walk-up service, or bag request.
The Food Bag Request form is for students that can't make it to walk-up service hours
and want to pick up a pre-made bag from the Wood Center front desk at a different
time. Students that are able to attend walk-up hours can come shop the pantry without
filling out a form.
Donations
Donations are always appreciated!
Non-perishable food and donations can be dropped off at the Wood Center, next to the
stairs near the Wood Center Front Desk. We are also able to accept donations at the pantry during food box pickup hours. Please
make sure donations are unopened and not expired. We also accept personal hygiene
items as well. All items are needed, but proteins (peanut butter, canned fish and other shelf-stable meat), premade single-serve meals,
soups, menstrual pads and toilet paper are usually in high demand.
Monetary gifts can be made through the UA Foundation. Click the button below to view our direct giving page. Funds donated are used to purchase groceries and fresh items for students in need.
