Born and raised on a small dairy farm in South Dakota, wildlife and wide open spaces
have always held a special place in Amy's heart. After receiving a BS in Environmental Management and
a MS in Biological Sciences from South Dakota State University, she spent a couple
of years in Wyoming before venturing to Bethel, Alaska where she worked at the °®ÎÛ´«Ã½
Kuskokwim Campus. A job opportunity for her husband brought the two of them to Fairbanks
where Amy started working as an Admissions Counselor at the °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ Troth Yeddha campus.
When not helping students, Amy enjoys reading, crocheting and card making and on occasion
running and biking. She shares her home with her 8 year-old daughter, husband and
14 year-old tabby cat.
