°®ÎÛ´«Ã½ hosting Arctic Fest events
The University of Alaska Fairbanks is hosting a series of events Aug. 29 through Sept. 3 as part of Arctic Fest, a festival combining art, science, innovation, and Indigenous perspectives with a focus on the changing environment of the circumpolar North.
°®ÎÛ´«Ã½-sponsored activities include museum drop-in events, art shows, literary readings, live performances and lectures.
Arctic Fest 2022 is a collaboration between the Fairbanks Concert Association, Northern Alaska Environmental Center and University of Alaska Fairbanks. The festival is structured around three themes: the arts, sciences, and green innovation. Interwoven throughout is an emphasis on Indigenous perspectives and voices.
