Opt-in for enhanced productivity: Zoom AI Companion features launch Aug. 16

The University of Alaska is excited to announce the upcoming launch of Zoom AI Companion's new features, set to go live on Aug. 16. This innovative tool is designed to further enhance meeting productivity and efficiency across the university. These features will be available on an opt-in basis, meaning they will not be automatically enabled for everyone.

Key Features (available starting Aug. 16)

  • Meeting Summary: After each meeting, receive a concise recap of key discussion points, action items, and decisions, making it easier to keep track of important information.
  • Recording Summary: Quickly review the highlights of recorded Zoom sessions without needing to watch the entire video, saving time and allowing for efficient information retrieval.
