Orientation for new graduate students

Thank you for choosing °®ÎÛ´«Ã½! We look forward to meeting you during the Spring 2025 New Graduate Student Orientation. Spring 2025 New Graduate Student Orientation will be available in-person and via Zoom video conference. In-person orientation will take place in the Schaible Auditorium.
At orientation, we will discuss getting started in graduate school, what to expect your first year, and how the °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ Graduate School team is here to help you.
Orientation is not mandatory, but we strongly recommend attending as it will familiarize you with graduate student policies, procedures, and other handy information that will help you navigate Graduate School. There will also be networking opportunities to allow you to meet some key people for your Graduate School experience. We hope to see you there!
We will also be hosting a Graduate Student Social in The Pub at the Wood Center, from 5:30-8pm. This event is open to all Graduate Students, and is a great opportunity to meet other students, talk to faculty and staff, and learn more about Graduate School at UAF!
