Whether you are a small business owner looking to improve your digital presence, an outdoorsman wanting to share your adventurous lifestyle with the world, or a gamer looking to build an online following, this program is for you. What is content creation?
Content creators are marketers and digital storytellers. They provide information to guide our decisions, entertain us and keep us up-to-date on the latest news. Their job is to attract and engage followings, bring new visitors to websites, and ultimately generate revenue for themselves or their business.
Content creators are experts at generating creative ideas that will resonate with their audiences, and then communicating those ideas through different types of media, including Instagram feeds, video tutorials, blog posts and online news stories. This program focuses primarily on digital content creation for social media, as well as the emerging world of eSports.
How is the content creation program delivered?
All courses for the digital content creation program are available entirely through online asynchronous courses. You can take classes through distance education in your own home or through campus computer labs. All of the courses are specifically designed for the content creation program, and have been altered to be completed with the resources available in an average home. Expect the content creation program to take about one year to complete.
